WHAT IS SECURITY CARE?

peat treatment

Peat therapy is a completely natural treatment in which peat is used to relax, cleanse and revitalize the body .

Peat treatments such as peat baths, "mud baths" and bath treatments have been used in Central Europe for hundreds of years in health and beauty care.

The health-promoting and improving effects of peat and bog water have been known among folk healers for thousands of years.

Finnish Hoitoturve is disposable, odorless and clean. Treatment peat is also available scented, such as tar or rosemary.

FARM TREATMENTS - PAMPER YOURSELF NATURALLY

The best-known form of pampering and treatment for Finns is the peat sauna, which is the Finns' own version of the Central European "turf spas".

A traditional sauna helps with many ailments, as surely every Finn knows.

With a turf sauna, you can promote the benefits of the sauna even more. The peat sauna relaxes, deeply warms, cleans and heals your body and mind.

If you've tried peat saunas , you've probably noticed that it works wonders!

Back care with massage is also really popular, where many have found help with back problems. Read about the experience of Irina Björkman (editor at ET magazine), who had back and foot treatment.

Peat treatment at home is also a great success, especially if you have a sauna companion who can spread the peat mass on your back as well.

TREATMENT FORMS:

  • Peat sauna
  • Peat bath
  • Face masks
  • Body masks
  • Hand and foot treatments
  • Local treatments

Peat is also excellent for hair and skin care.

You can enhance hair care with hair water made from nutrient-rich bog water and/or peat shampoo , which effectively helps with scalp problems.

If you want, you can finish off the peat facial mask intended for facial care with facial toner made from clean and natural bog water.

HEALTH BENEFITS AND EFFECTS

  • Helps with skin problems
  • Relieves pain conditions
  • Speeds up the metabolism
  • Effective for cellulite
  • Clean

IS SECURITY CARE SUITABLE FOR YOU?

The treatments are suitable for everyone and all ages, as peat has no allergenic effects.

Note! If you suffer from heart and hypertension disease or are pregnant, then it is better for you to avoid warm full-body treatments such as a peat sauna.

THE COMPOSITION OF THE TREATMENT PEAT OF THE LEHTOSWAMP

The peat of Lehtosuo is raised from a depth of about 2-4 meters, where it has been found that there is a treatment peat layer of excellent quality.

Peat is processed in its natural state, ground into fine particles and carefully sieved to ensure uniformity.

The top quality of treatment peat is guaranteed by research carried out by the Geological Survey of Finland.

The peat of Lehtosuo is mostly ground curd peat, with relics (i.e. remnants) of lake reed, Kortte and wood among them.

Peat contains useful trace elements such as copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, zinc and silicon.

The earthing degree of the peat is H8 and pH 5-5.7 (i.e. slightly acidic). The ash content is between 6-12% and the sulfur content is about 0.34% of the dry weight. The water content is about 86% of the wet weight.

On average, bioactive substances in therapeutic peat are:

  • Humic acids 28.50%
  • Fulvic acids 10%
  • Pectin 0.34%
  • Hemicellulose 11.7%
  • Cellulose 8.55%
  • Total lipids, humins and minerals are 40.96% of the dry weight of the peat
