A comfortable and relaxing one or two-day course. The duration of the course depends on the number of participants. Peat courses are held in Ähtäri, at Meijeritie 13.

Accommodation available nearby, e.g. Vanhan pappilan Hetki etc. Near Kiulu there is Hotel Mesikämmen, a camping area and cottages etc. Affordable accommodation also at LehtoPeat Oy's premises.

WELL-BEING FROM NATURE – BECOME AN EXPERT IN PEAT TREATMENT!

The course usually lasts two days, with the first day containing the theory part. You will receive all the materials for the theory part on a flash drive. The next day is practical exercises. The course can also be carried out as a one-day intensive course if the number of participants is small.

Training can also be arranged at your premises or another suitable location, if necessary. In this case, the minimum number of participants is four people.

The aim of the course is to give you the skills to perform peat treatments and massage using Aaltonen's technique. The course will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills you have learned, for example in your own treatment centre or company.

PEAT COURSE LEADER AND TRAINER

The trainer is Heikki Ruha from LehtoPeat Oy , a company that produces peat for treatment. Heikki trains and offers you LehtoPeat spa treatment methods with a relaxed attitude and over 24 years of solid experience.

• Different forms of treatment
• Various peat products
• Let's get to know Aaltonen's massage technique
• The effect of peat on various ailments, etc.
• Nurse's responsibilities in care situations

In practical training, we will go through, among other things, the following:

• Face mask
• Turf foot treatment
• Shoulder-back-foot peat bath and massage using the Aaltonen technique
• What else can peat be used for locally?
• Peat sauna (Experience the effects of a peat sauna yourself!)

We work closely with those who have taken the peat course, supporting each other.
